Re-reading through Ezekiel, chapter 16 is deep...and thick...and heavy...and liberating...really, it's the whole redemption story played out in 63 verses.
Ezekiel 16:1-63 (whole chaper) summary -
:1-5, "You were nothing"
:6-7, "I gave you life"
:8-14, "I married you and was the best husband"
:15-29, "You took My blessings and thought yourself great…you did not recognize Me or our union"
:30-34, "You satisfied yourself"
:35-58, "I will not stand for it…"
:59-63, "…Because I love you…I will honor our marriage by holding it up based on My holiness (in Christ)"
